The protection of the environment and retaining the natural basis of life are substantial components of our managerial policy. The following guidelines detail our commitment for the responsibility of people and the environment and the adherence to environmental regulations and obligations for their fulfilment:
Guidelines
We contribute continuously to reducing the load on the environment by using natural resources of air, water and soil as well as sources of energy consciously and economically.
We improve our operational environmental protection continuously beyond legal requirements; by the employment of best and economically justifiable technologies we ensure the well-being of people and for the highest security against discharges to the environment.
We already consider the recycling ability of our products during development and production; retired products and residual substances are commited to recycling; with wastes we prefer disposal without losses.
We understand environmental protection as an holistic task of our enterprise and promote it by constant further training to improve environmental awareness and the environmental protection knowledge of our staff.
We want a dialogue with the public, the authorities and our partner enterprises, whereby it is our goal to promote mutual understanding and to deepen the confidence of our actions.
We place importance on close co-operation with authorities, institutions and other enterprises, in order to discuss questions of environmental protection in this way and to keep the impact on the environment as small as possible.
We expect from our contracting parties that they use the same environmental standards as we do.
We will regularly examine the reaching of our environmental protection goals in the context of our Environmental management system and will document the progress.
